Agartala, Dec 23: Tripura government’s initiative for the spectacular Drone show over the sky in Agartala on 23 December night earned huge applause from the people.

The Drone Show, designed and performed by indigenous startup BotLab Dynamics, lit the sky over Swami Vivekananda Maidan as part of the closing ceremony of ‘Khelo Tripura, Sustho Tripura’ campaign.

Around 250 drones were used in the spectacular show that formed different formations on Indian Map, Tripura Sundari Temple in Udaipur, Unakoti, Map of Tripura and other interesting subjects. The show also depicted vaccination against Covid.

As soon as the drone show started, the massive crowed in Swami Vivekananda Maidan started cheering. It was something new that the people of Tripura witnessed for the very first time. This was probable the first drone show in the entire North East.

The grand event organized by the Youth Affairs and Sports department also included a mega musical night of noted Bollywood singer Sonu Nigam. He entered the stage amid cheers from thousands of music lovers present at the ground.

He left the audience spellbound by singing one after another hit numbers. Every moment of the musical night was magical with the enthralling performance of the renowned Bollywood singer and his team.

Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha, Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs Sushanta Chowdhury Sushanta Chowdhury and other dignitaries joined the event. Meanwhile, sports items were distributed among some clubs as part of the programme.
