Agartala, Sept 15: The Tripura Commission for Women (TCW) on Tuesday organised an awareness and training programme on YASHODA AI at a private hotel in Agartala.

The training programme National Commission for Women, in collaboration with the Tripura Commission for Women.

The event was inaugurated by TCW Chairperson Jharna Debbarma, who said that in today's age of technology, it is very important to teach women how to use Artificial Intelligence.

She said, "A state cannot be empowered without empowering its women. To empower the state and the nation, we must empower every woman, and AI can be a big help in that."

She added that the Commission will organise similar programmes at district level.

Vice-Chairperson of TCW Madhumita Choudhury delivered the welcome address.

The programme witnessed participation of school and college students and women from various fields.

In the technical session, Dr. Bapi Saha, Forensic Digital Analyst, and Subhrajit Roy, Senior Faculty, NIELIT, Agartala, spoke on different aspects of AI and cyber safety. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Debashmita Chakraborty, Law Officer, TCW.
