
Agartala, June 17: In a significant step towards strengthening rural entrepreneurship, financial inclusion, and sustainable livelihood generation, Tripura Gramin Bank, in collaboration with Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., organized a Mega Credit Delivery cum Sanction Letter & Key Handover Ceremony today at Agartala.
The event marked the formal handover of sanction letters and vehicle keys to 13 beneficiaries, with total credit assistance amounting to ₹43 lakhs, enabling them to embark on self-employment ventures and build stable sources of income.
The ceremony was inaugurated by Chairman of Tripura Gramin Bank Satyendra Singh, in the presence of Jeet Bhattacharya, Marketing Head, senior officials of the Bank, and distinguished representatives from Piaggio Vehicles Pvt. Ltd., including Samit Daw – Retail & Channel Finance East, Amit Singh – Institution Sales Head and Pritam Das – Dealer Principal, S.R. Motors.
Addressing the gathering, the TGB Chairman emphasized the Bank’s unwavering commitment to empowering the people of Tripura by providing easy, affordable, and accessible credit facilities.
He highlighted that such initiatives not only strengthen rural mobility but also contribute significantly to employment generation and economic upliftment.
