Tripura Gramin Bank will remain OPEN and fully operational on Sunday, 27 September 2026.

This is an important customer advisory from the TGB in view of the proposed nationwide bank strike from 28–30 September 2026 and the preceding weekend holidays.

An official press release said, In the interest of customer convenience and to ensure uninterrupted access to essential banking services, Tripura Gramin Bank will remain fully operational on Sunday, 27 September 2026.

The decision follows the Government of India’s announcement that Public Sector Banks and Regional Rural Banks will function normally on Sunday, 27 September 2026, in view of the proposed three-day nationwide bank strike from 28 to 30 September 2026, coinciding with the preceding weekend holidays.

The Reserve Bank of India has also approved the continued functioning of bank branches, offices, ATM-link branches and Currency Chests on 27 September 2026.

Accordingly, Tripura Gramin Bank branches and offices will remain operational on Sunday, 27 September 2026, enabling customers to avail essential banking services and complete their banking requirements.
