Agartala, May 22: The results of the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) 2026 were officially declared on Friday by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE), bringing relief and excitement to thousands of aspirants.

According to the official abstract released by the Board, a total of 4,731 applications were received for the examination. Among them, 2,769 candidates belonged to the General category, 1,133 to Scheduled Tribe (ST), and 829 to Scheduled Caste (SC) categories.

The examination witnessed strong participation in both streams. In the PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) group, 1,864 candidates appeared, while the PCB (Physics, Chemistry and Biology) group recorded 3,873 candidates.

In the PCM group, Arghajyoti Saha of Srikrishna Mission School, Agartala (Roll No. 0188) secured the first position, followed by Animesh Sarkar of Belonia Government English Medium HS School (Roll No. 4156) in second place and Akash Chaudhuri Shishu Bihar HS School (Roll No. 2528) in third.

In the PCB group, Baibhab Roy of Modern HS School (Roll No. 1928) emerged as the topper. Akash Chaudhuri (Roll No. 2528) secured the second position, while Arnab Mitra (Roll No. 1598) stood third. Both were from Shishu Bihar HS School.

The results were declared under the authority of TBJEE Chairman Dr. Suvadip Paul. Candidates can access their results  through the official TBJEE portals.
