Transformation in Tripura’s education sector now visible: CM

Agartala, Sept 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been continuously laying emphasis on the importance of education for a stronger nation and the government in Tripura has also been working in the same direction, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha said on Thursday.
He said, "The transformation in the state’s education system that came through our continuous efforts is now visible everywhere in the state including remote areas.”
The Chief Minister was addressing the public after laying the foundation stone of new building of Kalacherra Higher Secondary School in North Tripura.
He said, “The present government is committed to improving the school infrastructure across the state to ensure quality education to the students.”
As part of his North Tripura district tour, the Chief Minister also inaugurated and inspected the new building of Joynagar HS (+2 Stage) School at Sanicherra. He also interacted with the students of the school and asked about their views on various matters.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated the state’s 87th police station at Bagbasa, where he said that the full-fledged police station, upgraded from outpost, is a step towards ensuring more safety and security to the people of Bagbasa.
Dr. Saha, travelled to Dharmanagar in North Tripura from Agartala along with the common people in a train to attend these programmes.
The local elected representatives and administrative officials were present in all the programmes.
