Tripura’s ‘Unity Mall’ to have 22,000 sqm commercial space: CM

Agartala, Aug 04: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday chaired a meeting and discussed the preparations for construction of Unity Mall.
 
The ‘Unity Mall’ will come up at Jute Mills ground, Hapania.
 
Envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the mall would have commercial space of about 22,000 square metres with outlets from all states of the country as well as all districts from Tripura promoting Make in India and One District One Product, the Chief Minister tweeted.
 
The project would generate earning opportunities and promote local artisans. The Unity Mall to be built at Rs. 130 crore would have state-of-the-art Commercial mall, multiplex, cultural auditorium, conference halls, exhibition halls, Virtual Reality, food court, kids play, iconic symbols of each state, beautiful landscaping & open public spaces.
 
The Chief Minister also shared the model of the proposed mall. It would have a spectacular look.
