Agartala, Sep 8: Tripura-based technology startup Fueler has crossed the 1.4 lakh registered-member mark, marking a major milestone for the company and placing it among the emerging technology ventures from the northeastern state.

Founded by Agartala-based entrepreneur Riten Debnath, Fueler has built a platform focused on helping students and professionals showcase their actual work, skills and experience rather than relying solely on conventional resumes.

The platform allows users to build work portfolios featuring projects, internships, freelance assignments, campaigns, case studies and other professional or personal initiatives. The objective is to help individuals demonstrate what they can actually do and connect with relevant career opportunities.

Fueler's growing community includes students, designers, creators, freelancers, marketers and early-career professionals. The platform provides them with a structured way to document their work and make their skills more visible to potential employers, clients and organisations.

The company has also developed partnerships across India's startup and creator ecosystem. It has worked with organisations including GrowthX, Growth School, LEAP, Scaler, Flexiple, Buzzlab, Inagiffy, Owled, Topmate and FinFloww, among others.

Fueler has additionally collaborated with creators such as Ansh Mehra, Vaibhav Sisinty, Sindu Biswal and Ishan Sharma, expanding its reach within India's rapidly growing creator and professional ecosystem.

According to the company, members of its community are now pursuing careers with organisations including Microsoft, PayPal, GitLab, YourStory, Scaler, Cautio, Ugaoo, HackerRank and AppsForBharat, among others.

The startup's growth also highlights the changing geography of India's technology ecosystem. Fueler was founded in Tripura, rather than one of the country's established startup centres, and has gone on to build a nationwide professional community.

“Talent is everywhere. Opportunity, however, is often unevenly distributed,” Debnath said, underlining the idea behind the platform.

The 1.4 lakh-member milestone, he said, reflects a growing shift towards “proof of work” as students and professionals increasingly seek to demonstrate their capabilities through tangible work and portfolios.

For Tripura's emerging startup ecosystem, Fueler's journey offers another example of how technology ventures originating from smaller cities can build communities and reach users across the country.

“From Tripura to the 1,40,000-member milestone, Fueler's story is only getting started,” Debnath said.
