Tripura BJP already achieves 60 pc target in Membership Drive, CM lauds Karyakartas

Agartala, Sept 29: The Bharatiya Janata Party’s ongoing Sadasyata 2024 campaign in Tripura has reached a major milestone, with the party Karyakartas already achieved 60 percent of the target, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha announced on Sunday.

On X, he praised the BJP Tripura karyakartas for this achievement at the beginning of the second phase of the campaign.

The Chief Minister congratulated the party workers for their dedication and effort. 

Meanwhile, the people from all walks of life are showing tremendous support to the BJP’s membership drive amid enthusiasm.

To further promote the campaign's success, the Chief Minister on Sunday personally visited door to door in the 6-Agartala Mandal, encouraging the people to take the party’s membership. 

During one such visit to Booth No- 20, the Chief Minister received a unique gift—a handcrafted Ganesh idol from Trishita Saha. 

Expressing his gratitude, Saha in a social media post said, "I am deeply impressed by Trishita's creativity and passion for artistic activities alongside her academic pursuits. I wish her all the best."

As part of the ongoing membership drive, West Bengal's former MP and ex-national vice-president Dilip Ghosh, who is in-charge of the campaign in Tripura, has arrived in the state and met the Chief Minister on Sunday. They discussed the campaign's current progress.

With the membership drive continues to gather momentum, the BJP aims to further expand its support base across Tripura.
