Agartala, Mar 21: After the budget for FY 2025-26 was placed in the Tripura Legislative Assembly on Friday, Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha announced a 3 percent hike in DA/ DR for the employees/ pensioners.
He informed the House that the decision would be effective from 1st April, 2025. With this announcement, the DA/ DR would now increase from 30 to 33 percent.
The Chief Minister said, the decision would require an additional amount of Rs. 300 crore.
As soon as the announcement was made by the Chief Minister, a wave of happiness gripped the employees.
