Tripura CM felicitates Madhyamik, HS toppers

Agartala, May 25: Chief Minister of Tripura, Dr. Manik Saha felicitated the top performers of the Madhyamik and Higher Secondary examinations- 2024 conducted by the Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE), in a ceremony held on Saturday.

In his address to the distinguished students, the Chief Minister lauded their hard work and achievements, emphasizing their pivotal role in the future progress of Tripura. He noted the essential support from teachers and parents that contributes significantly to the students' success.

"If teachers and parents are supportive, the students can perform well. I congratulate all of you and believe that you will inspire the upcoming generations. Along with studies, sports and extracurricular activities are also necessary. A person must understand themselves to achieve success," said Dr. Saha during his interaction with the toppers.

The Chief Minister encouraged the students to continue their diligent studies and contribute to Tripura's development. He expressed confidence in the quality of education provided by the Tripura Board, highlighting that the TBSE syllabus is now comparable to that of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This alignment enables students from Tripura to compete effectively at the national level.

"The quality of the Tripura board is not less than other boards. During our time in school, we had to study with limited resources and faced issues at the all-India level. But now, the syllabus of TBSE is almost similar to CBSE, enabling us to compete at the all-India level. Students from Tripura are performing well in competitive exams and bringing name and fame to the state," Dr. Saha added.

The felicitation ceremony held at the Chief Minister’s official residence not only celebrated the academic excellence of the students but also aimed to motivate them to pursue further achievements and contribute positively to society.
