Agartala, July 09: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Tuesday inaugurated several development projects in Sepahijala district.

The projects included new buildings of Dayaram Para Primary Health Centre at Golaghati, Takarjala Community Health Centre and Synthetic Turf Football Ground at Sudhannya Debbarma H.S School, Jampuijala.

Addressing the inaugural programme at Jampuijala, the Chief Minister said, the present state government will bring a revolution in the state. 

He said, the state government has been working on a special focus on education, agriculture, sports, and other major sectors.

The Chief Minister mentioned, “The BJP-led Tripura government is following the direction of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Whether in sports, health, or agriculture, we are working to make Tripura a model state. During the election in Odisha, I remember PM Modi referring to Tripura as an example of development. After hearing such inspirational words, we must work even harder.”

He further said that the BJP-IPFT and Tipra Motha government in Tripura have decided that their main aim is development.

“Just as blood has no religion, development has no religion. We have taken a loan from the World Bank for the development of TTAADC, including hospitals, roads, etc. We have allocated a 15% additional budget for Aspirational Blocks in Tripura. We are committed to opening a medical college in TTAADC and are actively considering it,” he said.

Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports Tinku Roy, MLA Manab Debbarma, MLA Biswajit Koloi, BAC Chairman Birendra Kishore Debbarma, Sepahijala Zila Parishad Sabhadhipati Supriya Das Datta and others were present in the inaugural event.

A total of Rs 2.10 crore has been spent for the construction of the new building of the Dayaram Para Primary Health Centre, while Rs 6.70 crore has been spent for the construction of new building of the Takarjala Community Health Centre, and Rs 5 crore has been spent for developing the Synthetic Turf Football Ground.
