Agartala, July 11: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha on Friday evening inspected the newly introduced Evening Outpatient Department (OPD) services at Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee Agartala Civil Hospital, aimed at making healthcare more accessible, modern and citizen-centric.

The Evening OPD has been launched to provide medical consultation beyond regular hospital hours, enabling working professionals and other members of the public to access healthcare services at a more convenient time.

During his visit, the Chief Minister reviewed the overall functioning and management of the Evening OPD and assessed the quality of services being provided to patients.

The initiative is part of the state government's ongoing efforts to strengthen public healthcare delivery and improve access to medical services for all sections of society.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister on July 13 inaugurated the 100-bed paperless Agartala Civil Hospital. The new health facility has been developed to reduce burden on two mahor hospitals of the city- GBP Hospital and IGM Hospital.
