Tripura CM provides aid to Board candidate affected by fire incident

Agartala, Mar 18: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha has stepped in to assist Puja Das, a Higher Secondary examinee, who lost her books and study materials in a tragic fire accident.
A massive fire broke out at Puja’s residence in Rajib Colony, Charilam, reducing all belongings including her academic essentials to ashes.
Upon receiving the news, the Chief Minister promptly directed the Sepahijala District Administration to extend immediate support. In response, the district authorities provided financial assistance of Rs 40,000 to her family.
To ensure Puja’s studies are not disrupted, authorities have arranged for new study materials, which will be delivered to her by a day.
Further relief measures will be considered after a detailed assessment of the damages. The Chief Minister reaffirmed the government's commitment to standing by students facing hardships.
