Tripura CM to launch ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge’, MYYY for AY 2025-26, Digi-SAPNE 3.0 on Oct 1

Agartala, Sept 30: Tripura is set to witness a major push towards youth empowerment, digital inclusion and entrepreneurship with the launch of three key initiatives at Women’s College, Agartala, on Thursday.

Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha will formally launch the ‘Seva First Innovation Challenge 2026’ and the ‘Mukhyamantri Yuba Yogayog Yojana for Academic Year 2025-26’, besides inaugurating ‘Digi-SAPNE 3.0’, a startup acceleration programme of AIC-SMUTBI being implemented in collaboration with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India.

The programme is being organised by the Directorate of Information Technology as part of the ongoing Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which is being observed across the state from September 17 to October 17. The Chief Minister is scheduled to deliver the inaugural address following the formal launch and inauguration of the initiatives.

Minister for Information Technology Pranajit Singha Roy, Higher Education Minister Kishor Barman, IT and Finance Secretary Dr Parshant Kumar Goyal, Director of IT Jeya Ragul Geshan B. and Sikkim Manipal University Vice Chancellor Dr Gopalakrishna Prabhu are among those expected to attend the programme.

The event will also highlight the state's growing startup ecosystem, with cheques to selected startups under Digi-SAPNE 2.0 to be ceremonially handed over during the programme.

Digi-SAPNE 3.0 is expected to further strengthen support for emerging entrepreneurs by providing an institutional platform for innovation, mentorship and startup development, while the other initiatives will focus on encouraging innovation and improving digital connectivity among young people.

The initiatives are being positioned as part of the state government's broader efforts to promote citizen-centric innovation, digital empowerment, youth-oriented programmes and entrepreneurship, with a focus on creating a stronger ecosystem for technology-led development in Tripura.

Meanwhile, the renovated Matangini Pritilata Hall, will also be inaugurated in the programme.
