Tripura CM urges BJP Karyakartas to follow Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee’s ideals

Agartala, June 23: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha today said that BJP is a family and encouraged the karyakartas to move forward with the party principles and ideology.

He said, “The Bharatiya Janata Party has a strong policy and ideology. We have to move forward based on that policy and ideology. Only then will the sacrifice of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee be fruitful and justified. He taught us the theory of country comes first, then the party, and the self comes last. We have to move forward with this thought,” he said.

He also encouraged the karyakartas to follow the ideals of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, who was an extraordinary person.

Dr. Saha said this at the tribute program organized on the occasion of the martyrdom day of patriot, renowned educationist, thinker, and founder of Jana Sangh Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee at the state office of the Bharatiya Janata Party today.

Participating in this program, Dr. Saha also said that based on the theory of integral humanism of Pandit Deendayal, the Central Government and the State Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi are working for the overall welfare of the people up to the last level of society.

“Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was an extraordinary person, a respected educationist who became the Vice-Chancellor of Calcutta University at the age of just 33. He achieved the distinction of being the youngest person to hold this post. The Bharatiya Janata Party is a family. If we move forward keeping in mind the ideals of those who were the inspiration of this family, a beautiful environment will be created. Our Prime Minister talks about New India, and to build New India, each state will have to work in that direction. Tripura is also moving forward in the direction of Viksit Bharat 2047. Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee was born in a respectable family, but he was like a common man. He sacrificed himself for the country and the people. Many people joined the Bharatiya Janata Party after seeing the ideology of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee, Pandit Deendayal, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Therefore, now the Bharatiya Janata Party government is ruling in almost 21 states of the country,” he said.

The Chief Minister said everyone needs to discuss what the government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Tripura government are doing.

The program was attended by Bharatiya Janata Party State President Abhishek Debroy, former State President and MP Rajib Bhattacharya, North East Coordinator and MP Sambit Patra, Assam-Tripura Organization General Secretary Ravindra Raju, Tripura Pradesh In-charge Dr. Rajdeep Roy, along with state cabinet members and other public representatives and top party leadership.
