Tripura gets its first 'Nagar Van' with endless natural beauty

Agartala, Sept 26: The first 'Nagar Van of Tripura developed by the Forest department at Peratia in Gomati district is now open for the visitors.
This park will enable the visitors to feel the unending beauty of mother nature closely.
With various amusement facilities, this park is all set to welcome the tourists and nature lovers.
Tripura Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has on Monday inaugurated the 'Nagar Van' developed on 44.2 acres area with the aim to facilitate the nature lovers as well as conservation of forests. The expenditure for creating this park stands at Rs. 1.22 crore.
The Chief Minister has appealed to all to plant trees and join hands in conservation of nature. In this context, he lauded the 'Nagar Van' initiative of the Forest department.
Dr. Saha, who walked through the park and planted saplings, said such Nagar Van initiatives are being implemented in three other locations.
Finance minister Pranajit Singha Roy, MLA Abhishek Debroy, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests A.K. Sheti and others were present in the inaugural ceremony.
