Tripura Minister for Janajati Welfare Bikas Debbarma chaired a meeting on Wednesday to discuss the key initiatives for tribal welfare in the state 

The meeting was held to review fund utilisation and plan key initiatives for the welfare and development of the tribal communities.

According to official sources, special emphasis has been laid on infrastructure development, education, livelihood generation, and the welfare of returnee beneficiaries.

The minister passed necessary instructions to prioritise convergence with centrally sponsored schemes and ensure timely delivery of benefits at the grassroots level.

Officials from the Directorate of Tribal Welfare and TRESP, PMU actively participated to ensure the timely and effective implementation of all initiatives for the upliftment of tribal communities.
