Agartala, Sept 29: Tripura government on Friday posted Anurag, who returned from central deputation, as the new ADG Law and Order. He replaced Sourabh Tripathi, who has now been posted as ADG, PHQ. 

The Tripura government also transferred 22 other senior police officers including eight Superintendents of Police.

AIGP (HQ) Sankar Debnath has been shifted to 6th-Bn TSR as CO and R. Darlong (attached to PHQ) has been given posting as AIGP, TSR.
 
SP, South Tripura Dr. Kulwant Singh has been transferred and posted as SP, Economic Offences. SP Security Bijoy Debbarma has been transferred and posted as SP, Procurement. Incumbent SP, Procurement Prabir Majumder has been transferred and posted as SP, MTF.
 
SP, Serious Crimes Ratiranjan Debnath has now been made SP, Anti-Narcotics.
 
CO of 6th-Bn TSR Jayanta Chakraborty has been posted as AIGP (HQ) and Alok Bhattacharjee, AIGP Crime, has been made in-charge CO of 9th-Bn TSR.
 
Rajib Sengupta, in-charge AIGP(PH & C) has now been posted as in-charge CO of ACRR Training Centre.
 
SP, MTF Nabadwip Jamatia has been transferred and posted as Principal, KTDS Police Training Academy replacing Ashok Kumar Sinha. Sinha has been made SP, South Tripura.
 
Rajib Nag, in-charge CO of 9th-Bn TSR, has been transferred and posted as in-charge AIGP (PH & C) and H.F. Darlong, Deputy Commandant of 2nd-Bn TSR has been posted as in-charge SP (Serious Crimes).
 
Sudip Kumar Paul, in-charge CO of ACRR Training Centre, has now been shifted to 1st-Bn TSR as in-charge CO.
 
Mihir Lal Das, Addl. SP, South Tripura, has been made in-charge SP, Cyber Crimes.
 
SP Narcotics Sharmistha Chakraborty has now been posted as AIGP (Crime) and SP, Security Kishore Debbarma has been transferred and posted as SP, Security.
 
Sudeshna Bhattacharyya, SP SCRB, will now look after Home Guards as CO. She replaced Timir Das, who has been transferred and posted as SP SCRB.
 
Narayan Roy Chowdhury, in-charge CO of 3rd-Bn TSR, has been made in-charge CO of 2nd-Bn TSR and Addl. SP, Dhalai- Binoy Kishore Debbarma has been transferred and posted as in-charge CO, 3rd-Bn TSR.
