Tripura to get its first Dental College soon

Agartala, Nov 17: Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha’s dream for setting up a Dental College, first in the state, is going to become a reality soon.
According to Minister for Information and Cultural Affairs, if everything falls on the right track, the proposed Dental College would soon start functioning in a hospital at capital city- Agartala.
Dr. Saha, who is a Dental surgeon by profession and holding the portfolio of Health, proposed to set up the Dental College which is a landmark move in the field of healthcare.
The council of ministers in its sitting on Friday discussed the matter and gave necessary approval. As decided by the cabinet, initially, the proposed Dental College would start operation in the G+7 building of IGM Hospital, Agartala.
The ICA minister said, a team from the Dental Council of India already visited the existing infrastructure in the IGM hospital and expressed their satisfaction. The next inspection would take place in December.
