Roy further appealed to all educational institutions and social organizations in Tripura to encourage their members to dedicate at least one hour to sports and physical activities during this period.
As part of the celebrations, outstanding sportspersons will be honored under the Chief Minister’s Sports Development Scheme and Chief Minister’s Sports Talent Search Project.
Additionally, 39 athletes under the Tripura School Sports Board and Tripura Sports Council will also receive awards.
