Agartala, May 11: Tripura Transport Minister Sushanta Chowdhury on Monday held an important review meeting with the Secretary of the Transport Department and other senior officials at the State Secretariat to assess the progress of ongoing projects and discuss issues related to public transport services and transport workers.

The meeting was held at the conference hall of the minister’s office chamber in the Secretariat, Agartala.

During the meeting, the minister reviewed the progress of various developmental projects currently being implemented by the Transport Department. Detailed discussions were also held on improving citizen-centric transport services and strengthening overall departmental functioning.

Apart from development-related matters, the meeting focused on several demands and grievances raised by transport workers.

The minister discussed possible measures to address their concerns and ensure better coordination between the department and stakeholders associated with the transport sector.

Chowdhury emphasized the need for efficient implementation of works and better public service delivery to improve the public transport system.
