Tripura Tribune releases first edition of ‘Sharad Sambhar’

Agartala, Oct 07: Tripura Tribune has released its first edition of puja special souvenir ‘Sharad Sambhar’ in a vibrant programme at Agartala Press Club on Sunday (6th October, 2024).

Justice Arindam Lodh of the High Court of Tripura graced the occasion as Chief Guest while president of Agartala Press Club Jayanta Bhattacharyya, editor of Headlines Tripura Pranab Sarkar and other dignitaries were present as guests of honour.

Among other notables, veteran journalist Manas Pal, managing editor of Tripura Times Avishikta Lodh, Major of Assam Rifles Poorva Singh and journalist Nandita Dutta were also present.

The Chief Guest in his address lauded the initiative of Tripura Tribune. He said, the first edition of the Souvenir featured a diverse collection of articles from senior and young writers.

He also mentioned few interesting articles including “Tribute to a Dacoit- Samba the Sniper”, written by Manas Pal. The High Court judge also extended puja greetings to everyone.

From culture and traditions to short stories, the writers have come together to create a vibrant tapestry of thought and inspiration and Tripura Tribune aimed to make this Souvenir an engaging and memorable read.

The souvenir gave a special focus on promotion of Tripura tourism and highlighted the rich cultural heritage of the state. The souvenir also honored the unsung heroes, who risked their lives to save others during the recent flood crisis, through photographs collected from various places.

Three NGOs- Seva O Sahayata Parishad, Yuvaprerna and Souhardya were felicitated for their humanitarian efforts in flood relief works.
