Tripura's Youth Icon shines in National Youth Festival 2025

Agartala, Jan 12: A Class-XI student from Agartala has represented Tripura in the National Youth Festival 2024.
The student- Baibhav Datta from Hindi Higher Secondary School proudly joined the National Youth Festival 2025 as Youth Icon, held at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.
His participation marked a significant milestone, symbolizing the vibrant potential of Tripura's youth on a national stage.
The two-day festival, held on January 11-12, witnessed the presence of Union Minister of Youth Affairs and Sports, Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, who inaugurated the event.
Baibhav’s role as the State Youth Icon added a remarkable achievement to his journey, further solidifying his stature as a promising role model for the youth.
A special highlight of Baibhav’s experience was his opportunity to meet former cricketer Jonty Rhodes, with whom he shared a memorable moment captured in a photograph.

The festival, celebrated annually to commemorate the birth anniversary of Swami Vivekananda.
The main event held on Sunday saw presence of distinguished dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who addressed the attendees and inspired young minds across the nation.
Baibhav’s selection as the Youth Icon by the Youth Affairs & Sports Department, Government of Tripura, has brought immense pride to the state.
His participation in the prestigious event not only reflects his dedication and talent but also reflects the government's commitment to nurturing young leaders from Tripura.
