Agartala, Aug 14: A girl student among 19 from Tripura has been invited to witness the Independence Day programme as special guest in New Delhi on Thursday.

Puja Roy, a Class-XI student, expressed her delight and conveyed her thanks and gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and her school teachers for the opportunity.

She is a student of PM Shree Mohendra Mohan Girls’ HS School at Jolaibari in South Tripura. The student already reached the national capital for the event. 
 
According to PIB press release, 19 individuals from various occupations including teachers, students, Lakhpati Didis, ASHA and AWW workers from Tripura will be participating as special guests in the 78th Independence Day Celebration programme at Red Forte on August 15.
