TRLM sets target to form 11,000 new SHGs in 2022-23

Agartala, Apr 09: Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission (TRLM) working under the Rural Development department has set its target to constitute 11,000 new Self Help Groups (SHGs) and 16 Cluster Level Federations (CLFs) the FY 2022-23.

According to an update shared by Tripura Deputy Chief Minister Jishnu Dev Varma, who attended a workshop organised by the TRLM at Prajna Bhavan on Friday, the TRLM will also focus on promoting 75000 SHG members in three or more livelihood activities for income enhancement.

To roll out the Annual Action Plan of Tripura Rural Livelihood Mission for 2022-23 as approved by the Ministry of Rural Development, the four-day workshop has been organised (6th to 9th April, 2022) at Prajna Bhawan in Agartala with participation of staff members from across the state.

Experts from the Ministry of Rural Development participated in the workshop and appreciated the efforts of TRLM and shared their suggestions and feedbacks for further improvement.

Besides, detailed discussion was held on the achievements of the previous year and many of the staff of TRLM were awarded for their outstanding performance. During the workshop, the TRLM officials prepared joint strategies for the implementation of the approved plan.
