Two SHG Didis from Tripura share experience in national conclave

Agartala, Jan 18: Two Didis of Self Help Groups (SHGs) from two districts of Tripura have shared their experience in a national conclave held in New Delhi on Thursday.

The two SHG Didis who participated in the workshop as panellists are- Binata Rani Singha, vice-president of Tejaswini Cluster Level Federation (CLF) in Dhalai district, and Aparna Roy Sarkar, Secretary of Rajnagar CLF under Matabari BMMU in Gomati district.

The National Conclave on Cluster Level Federation led Social and Economic Empowerment was organized by the Deendayal Antodaya Yojana- National Rural Livelihood Mission under the Ministry of Rural Development.

This conclave aimed to help the participants develop enhanced understanding on how Cluster Level Federation (CLF) can be strengthened as a robust community institution for social and economic empowerment of its members.

The experts discussed the role of CLFs in addressing multidimensional poverty in depth.

The other SHG members who joined the event are- Jyoti Debnath, president of Sabroom CLF, Tapasi Debnath, president of Kalshi CLF and Mukul Debnath, secretary of Sarbajaya CLF.
