Union Home Minister assures all support for Tripura’s development: CM

Agartala, Aug 06: Union Home Minister Amit Shah assured Tripura Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha of extending all-possible support for the state’s development.
The assurance came from the Union Home Minister when the Tripura Chief Minister met him in the national capital on Saturday.
Dr. Saha tweeted, “Glad to meet Hon’ble Union Home Minister Shri @AmitShah Ji at his residence in Delhi. Discussed about the progress of various on going projects in the State. The Hon’ble Union Minister assured about extending all kind of support and assistance for overall development of Tripura.”
The Chief Minister also met Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya. In the meeting, Dr. Saha highlighted the status of various health related projects being implemented in the state. According to him, the Union Health minister also assured to provide necessary support for Tripura’s health infrastructure.
After the meeting, Mandaviya tweeted, “Met with the Chief Minister of Tripura @DrManikSaha2 Ji. Deliberated on ways to enhance health
infrastructure in the State for the welfare of the people. Assured him of the Centre’s full support to augment & establish state-of-the-art healthcare infra in Tripura.” The Union Health minister tweeted.
Meanwhile, the Chief Minister presented a Tricolor prepared by the Tripura Rural Health Mission to the Health Minister.
Earlier, the Tripura Chief Minister met President Droupadi Murmu at Rastrapati Bhavan and invited her to visit Tripura.
“Honoured to meet Hon’ble President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu Ji at Rastrapati Bhawan today. Invited Hon'ble President to the holy land of Mata Tripura Sundari and blessed our people with her kind presence,” the Chief Minister tweeted.
Dr. Saha also attended a meeting on Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav at Rastrapati Bhavan where he met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and discussed various matters.
The Chief Minister went to Delhi to attend NITI Aayog’s meeting scheduled on August 7. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the seventh governing council meeting of the NITI Aayog on Sunday.
