Agartala, Sept 24: A short-film from Tripura- El Amado has hit big and won three awards in a national-level event held in Bangalore recently.
 
Under the banner of Kalpadruma productions, the experimental short-film has been written and directed by Siddhartha Sankar Deb. 

The actors in the short-film are Arindam Sarkar, Anurikta Sen and Subhrajit Ghosh.
 
The short-film was premiered in Suchitra Cinema and Cultural Academy in Bangalore on September 22 last and the award ceremony (IFH national level short film awards- 2023) was held on the next day.
 
The film has bagged three awards— first place in Best Art Work category (Siddhartha Sankar Deb), first place in Best Cinematography (Subhabrata Karmakar) and second place in Best Actor category (Arindam Sarkar).
 
The director along with Anurab Dhar, co- founder of Kalpadruma productions, and Rituparna Das, executive member of the production house, attended the premiere and the award function in Bangalore. Prakash Belawadi, Indian artist and film director was a prominent guest at the event.
