‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign begins in Tripura with enthusiasm, CM leads Tiranga rally at Narkelkunja

Agartala, Aug 13: Three-day ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi to mark 75 years of India’s independence, has started in Tripura with great enthusiasm.
The campaign is visibly leaving a sign of patriotism and love for the nation, specially among the youngsters in a broad sense. Many of the households, government and private establishments took part in the campaign by hoisting National Flags.
As Tripura joined the Har Ghar Tiranga campaign on Saturday on the occasion of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Chief Minister Dr. Manik Saha led a colorful Tiranga rally Narkelkunja (Dumboor Lake), one of the most attractive tourist locations in the state.
Around 70 motor-operated boats decorated with National Flags flying with full glory participated in the colorful rally held in Dumboor Lake that was followed by a brief cultural function.
Overwhelmed by the beauty of the Dumboor Lake and Narkelkunja, the Chief Minister said that his government would take steps to develop modern infrastructure in this location to transform it into a world-class tourist destination.
Besides, private helicopter service provider would be invited in this region to attract the tourists, Dr. Saha said according to a government press release.
In the programme, the Chief Minister was accompanied by MP Rebati Tripura, MDC Bhumikananda Reang, Dhalai District Magistrate Mayor Govekar Ratilal and SP Dhalai Ramesh Yadav among other dignitaries.
