‘Sampark’ initiative gets national recognition, Tripura Unakoti district honoured with SKOCH Award

Agartala, June 21: The innovative governance initiative ‘Sampark’, implemented by Tripura’s Unakoti District administration, has earned national recognition with prestigious SKOCH Award at the 108th SKOCH Summit in New Delhi.
The award was conferred during the summit, which focused on the theme “Regulatory Framework for Viksit Bharat”, acknowledging the district’s efforts in enhancing citizen engagement and strengthening public service delivery through innovative administrative practices.
The honour was received by District Magistrate Megha Jain and Dr. Tamal Majumdar on behalf of the district administration at the PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry in New Delhi.
Officials stated that the recognition reflects the impact of the Sampark initiative in making governance more accessible, responsive, and citizen-focused.
